A beautiful, perfect day for photos in this Danville neighborhood! Summertime is always pleasant in the East Bay hills. This gorgeous family had only to walk around the corner from their house to enjoy this little park. I love taking family photos in locations that are very personal and this was just the right thing.
Step away from the kids for just a moment. Hold hands with your sweetheart
Quiz: How do you get 4 kids and a puppy to sit perfectly still for a photo? A: You don't! You shoot faster than they move. In this case, though, these kids were old enough to sit quite still. We only had to wait for the puppy to look my way, which she did after I tried enough loud, silly sounds to get her attention.
Who doesn't love a puppy with a bow? Really doesn't get much cuter than that.
Why do I love to take the "family walk" photo so much? Because, after we rewind and do it enough times, the family sort of forgets that I'm there and actually starts to really just enjoy each other's company. That is what I love to capture most.
Try catching this pup for a photo! I got my workout chasing her around but it was sure tons of fun.
The puppy may be done with pictures, but the family is ready for that last, perfect shot. What a blessing to have such a perfect day, with the summer sun setting so sweetly on their special day.
