Newark Lake, Newark, CA. This lake is nestled in a very quaint neighborhood in Newark. It is mainly used by pedestrians and the occasional cyclist so it's pretty quiet. It's best at early morning or sunset for lighting. I generally don't recommend this location for families with very small children as there is quite a bit of duck mess on the ground. For older kids, singles, and couples, it's quiet charm is a perfect setting.
